Titanfall

Titanfall was one of the most highly anticipated game titles of 2014, with people knowing it was coming for three years before it was released, which many people were awaiting eagerly. Looking purely at all of the media hype surrounding its release, you could quite easily believe that it should be the best gamer ever made, but for most people it fell well short of that. To be fair, considering it was made by the same people which co-designed Call of Duty, you can understand why the level of anticipation for the game was so high. And it's by no means a bad game, just in most people's estimation not the best game.

For those unfamiliar with the game, you should definitely consider buying it, but just don't expect it to be anything way, way above any other high quality first person shooter game, such as Black Ops.
